March 8 - Packet Pick Up
March - 10-12 - Minimum Days/ Conference Afternoons
March 16 - Leprechaun Traps/ Presentations
I hope you enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend. This week we have a four day week. Friday is a teacher workday and students will have the day off. Please be sure to mark you calendars.
Next week will be an adjusted schedule for conferences. These conferences are optional. I will contact you if I feel your child needs a conference. If you would like a conference and I have not contacted you, I would be happy to schedule conference . I will be sending out a Google Sign Up this week. Conferences will be 20 minutes and students should not attend. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Please be sure to look at your child's work if it has been returned. If I returned student work, it usually has errors and I have commented on what needs to be fixed. Many students are not fixing their mistakes and resubmitting. This only reinforces the concepts incorrectly. If your child continues to struggle with a concept, please let me know and I will meet with them to go over the concept. Thanks for your help with this.
Leprechaun Traps are coming!! I put the directions on Seesaw this week in case you would like to get an early start. Students will make leprechaun traps using any materials they can think of. We will then have presentations on March 16th during our class meetings time. This is part of the oral presentation grade. Be sure to check Seesaw for directions.
Congratulations to Umbi, Zachary, Charlie, Emily, Rylan, Maisy, and Emerson for leveling up on Lexia this week. Our top Raz Reader was Miles. Great job readers!!
Have a great week!!
